Removal of brown information signs in the parish

A number of brown information signs have been placed on the side of roads in the parish.  

All roadside signs which are not of a temporary nature, for example advertising ‘one-off’ events like fetes and jumble sales, must be authorised by Somerset Council in advance and conform to the national highway sign standards. Somerset Council has removed the unauthorised signs which were placed on public land in the parish, and they are in temporary storage.  

If the individual(s) who placed some or all of these signs would them back, then can they please contact the parish clerk at clerk@thecharltons.org.uk before Friday 7th August.  After that date all the signs will be disposed of. The person claiming the signs would need to collect the signs from Somerset Council.
