Tell Us About Your Library
Somerset’s library users and non-users are urged to take part in the latest library customer satisfaction survey.
Launched on Monday (24 July), the results from the survey will inform Somerset County Council what’s important to library users and how the Council can help customers make the most of library services going forward.
Questions include how often they visit, what services they use, how they find staff support, the quality of library facilities and services, how library services could be improved in future and what stops people visiting their local library.
Cllr David Hall, Cabinet Member with responsibility for libraries at Somerset County Council, said: “We always want to know how we are doing and would like as many people as possible to complete this latest customer satisfaction survey. The results will tell us more about what’s important to our customers, the services they like and suggestions for improvement. We also want to hear from people who don’t use their local library. Why don’t they? Is there a particular reason that we could improve on in future?”
The survey can be completed online at www.somerset.gov.uk/librarysurvey from 24 July until 12 August. Alternatively, surveys are available from your local library – just ask a staff member.
The survey is open to library users under 16 as well. Therefore, children may be asked by a member of Library Staff to complete a questionnaire.
